Nights in Rodanthe-Am I the only one who needs therapy?!?

Has anyone ever gone to a movie that they thought was going to be a great love story and then you were sadly mistaken?? Yesterday, Nancy and I decided to use my birthday as a great excuse for a "girls day", and we spent the day in Idaho Falls shopping. We broke for lunch midday, and then continued until 9:30 p.m. when we went to the theater and bought tickets to Nights in Rodanthe. We settled in our seats with our popcorn and chocolate, and got prepared to be swept away with a good love story. I wont give anything away, in case anyone is planning on seeing the movie, but I have to say that something TOTALLY unexpected happened 3/4 of the way through the movie. Seriously, if the theater hadn't of been empty when we got out, I would have demanded my money back!!! I wanted a good chick flick, feel good movie, and left feeling super duper sad. It must have been bad if I'm having to write about it theraputically. If anyone out there has seen the movie, let me know....I would love to hear what you thought of it! If anyone is planning on seeing it, take a box of tissues and plan on needing therapy afterwards.

I guess I'm suppposed to list 6 weird things about myself..how do I narrow it down?!?

1. I cannot walk around the house w/out shoes or socks on...I know..weird huh? It doesn't even matter what time of year it is. I cannot bring myself to make bare foot contact with any surface!!!

3. I can only drink milk out of a glass glass...uh huh, it's true.

4. I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE Mayonase!! Except when used in potatoe salad and chicken salad.

5. I have to use gloves to do dishes.

6. I'm addicted to knowing what time it is..at all times!

Randy says that I should add these:

I change purses every week
I get car sick if I dont drive

Ok, I tag Colette, Ericka, Edna, Brenda, Angela, and Sabra.

Harriman Park October 2008

Ok, so it wasnt the dryest day in Idaho, but it was so BEAUTIFUL! Fall is in full bloom and we enjoyed the scenery to its fullest! Harriman Park is located in Island Park.
Saige could hardly believe that she would be able to ride a horse all by herself! She was a natural!
At first, Braden was complaining that he didn't want to be on a horse for "2 WHOLE HOURS!!!" But 5 minutes into the trail he was hooked! He wants to go back ASAP!

Gavin rode in front of me most of the way, and he was so helpful, sharing the rules on horseback riding! He let me know how to sit when going uphill and downhill. Don't know what I would do without him! It drizzled on us most of the way but no complaining was ever done! This will definately be a yearly tradition!

P.S.
I am totally hating the layout of this post, so forgive this one and I will chalk it up to a good leaning experience!

Collin turns 8

I cant believe my little Coll Coll is 8! He is the sweetest boy! I forgot my camera at his baptism, luckily Grandma Wallace had hers...now I just need to load them on my computer! =)
These big brown eyes can melt anyones heart within seconds! How can anyone deny him anything!
This picture was taken on Sunday, right after church. The big pine tree is a perfect backdrop for this picture. We were so happy to have G-ma & G-pa Wallace come for Collins' baptism! We love you!

Summer 2008

This is how our summer started....on the ball field! Who doesnt love a good baseball game?!?
Stacy and her kids came up to visit us--and we had the best time! This is Mesa Falls, besides the misquitos......it was so beautiful!
July 4th! We all went to the 4th of July parade in Rexburg. Gavin and Josh helped represent Madison Pediactric Dentistry by handing out toothbrushes in the parade! All of the boys loved their "dentist shirts"!
We had one last hoorah with the Hoogendoorn's before they moved back to AZ. We forced pictures after church...which was so enjoyable for them! We miss having our friends so close to us!
We are so glad the Savage's have family in Northern Idaho! We are guarranteed a visit as they are passing through town! It's so fun to see the kids growing up!
